Bloggers have long ago learned to cash in on adsense. It’s a great way for others to monetize and make money from their website and Blogs. Over the course of time many other programs have rivaled Google but the newest one on the market is widget bucks.
Widget bucks works very similar to Google but with some major differences. Widget bucks will currently only work on a blog like wordpress, blogger and typepad. This may change in the near future but for now that’s the way it is. Adsense shows relevant ads in text based format or graphic format depending on what the publisher chooses. With Widget Bucks they only have graphic ads but it’s a little more then that. Think of Widget bucks as a widget that shows current pricing of items as well as pictures and then rotates it through into the next add.
Widget bucks let you choose what type of products to show on your blog. After all no one knows better then you what your readers like. You have many different add layout to choose from and can customize the look to some extent to match your site.
With widget Bucks being new no one has gotten a check yet. I can’t say no one but it just opened up and it takes 45 days from the end of the month till you get paid. So the first checks should start rolling out in mid December.
So will this new adsense competitor be able to hang with the big boys?
Only time will tell. Of all the programs out there competing with adsense, widget bucks has a good chance because it’s more of a niche that was missing in the market. The Widget is not for every blog out there. If your blog is not product based you may be better off with adsense. If however you have a blog about wifi or about electronics I bet Widget Bucks would make an impression on your readers.
Another thing to mention is widget bucks currently offers a 25.00 sign up bonus. While this should not heavily influence your decision it’s a little icing on the cake. You do have to make at least .00 before you can be paid out so that 25.00 get’s you half way on your way. Adsense minimum payout is 100.00 so smaller bloggers may find this to be a better route to go.
For new blogger the most simple and easy way to make money is display Google Adsense on their blog. This article will talk to WordPress bloggers who are interesting in making money with their blog.

When is it best to use: DreamWeaver vs. WordPress Templates vs. Drupal or some other program to create websites?
Answer:
You can learn any or all three and put out an effective website.
I would look at what the website will need:
Dreamweaver can be used to design all three types of sites – ie, you could build a Drupal site in Dreamweaver or a WordPress site in Dreamweaver. In fact, I’ve done all three – Drupal, WordPress, and straight HTML in Dreamweaver.

Drupal is a CMS – so if you’re building a site that needs a lot of management or is going to have people managing the content who don’t know or don’t want to learn HTML, this might be a good choice. Drupal offers lots of plugins and extensions like a blog, calendar, and forum. So if you think the site is going to have all those things eventually this might be a good choice.

WordPress is first and foremost a blogging tool. Yes, lots of people are starting to use it to manage their entire site, but most of the time you can tell these sites because they look like blogs. They might have 1 or 2 static pages, but typically the blog is the most important part of a WordPress site. If that’s what your site is, then this is a good solution.
Finally, Dreamweaver alone. You can build any type of site you want using just Dreamweaver. You won’t have the built-in tools for blogging or CMS like you do with Drupal and WordPress, but you have the flexibility to build anything you like. And as I said before, you can use Dreamweaver to build and maintain the templates for your Drupal or WordPress sites.
